Anatomy of a Slide

  • A slide is defined by a block of text starting by a Slide separator (---). Except the last slide of the presentation, it is also closed by another slide separator
  • A slide can have optional Slide Metadata that can be used to define the layout, transition,…
  • A slide can contains notes
  • Complex layouts split the slide into different Slide Parts
    • Parts are a way to tell to Slideas how it should distribute the contents of the slide over the different section of the slide layout.
    • Parts are separated by a Part Separator (+++)
